May 15, 2021: 1996: where are you at?
Today, a quarter of a century ago, a gearbox blew up, marking the start of an epic journey across America. Sometimes I struggle with the relentless march of time. It does not seem like 25 years have passed, yet the cold facts remain: my slide into middle age now vastly overtakes the ascendency of child- and young adulthood, leading up to my college exchange experience. That is just a fact but cheer up - being old rules!
